A Year of Tania
As we approach one year since Tania the Revolutionary was released, I thought we could celebrate with some good old-fashioned backstory. In this month’s newsletter, I'm sharing some of the influences for my novella Tania the Revolutionary because they are various and because it's always possible there will be more to Judy's story at some point. What A Character
We’re doing something a little different for March. I’ve had the opportunity to introduce all of you to my favorite books and authors but it’s time to talk characters. There are certain characters that I never tire of introducing to readers who don’t know them so I chose three special people to land in your inbox today. I also threw in a movie recommendation for any music lovers. Originally published March 31, 2021.
What stories have influenced your worldview?
As February comes to a close, I wanted to spend some time in this newsletter highlighting some of my favorite literature pieces by Black authors. I won’t take up too much of your time here but I do encourage you to look at your bookshelf and see what stories you’ve allowed to impact your worldview. Originally published February 28, 2021.
